As a growing web design firm, we are always on the lookout for talented people. Below are our immediate job openings, but we're always accepting resumes for web designers, web developers, software engineers and iPhone app developers.
WEB DEVELOPER
The developer we're looking for has the ability to take our designer's files and use them to create fully functional web sites that look nearly identical to the design files. You should be able to code standards-compliant XHTML, CSS and Javascript. In addition to building new sites, you'll be responsible for maintaining existing sites. Here's what else is required in this position:
- Ability to write clean, standards-compliant XHTML, CSS and Javascript code by hand
- Good working knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues
- Ability to multi-task
- Good time management skills
- Great verbal communication skills
- PHP skills required
- Solid understanding of internet technologies (HTTP, DNS, TCP, SSH), very familiar with Unix systems, a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design, and a good background in computer science preferred.
- Experience with jQuery, CodeIgniter and Subversion a plus
This is a full-time, hourly, on-site position. Hourly rate is based on experience and skill level.
